Đesika Kolarić is currently a PhD student at both Helmholtz Munich and the Technical University of Munich, starting in March 2024. Previously, Đesika served as Project Manager at Magdalena Clinic for Cardiovascular Medicine, contributing to a clinical study focused on wearable ECG devices and AI solutions for atrial fibrillation. Additionally, contributions as a columnist for the Society for Out-of-Frame Education and Dedal komunikacije involved explaining scientific concepts and publishing articles on therapeutics and diagnostics. Prior experience includes a predoctoral internship at Medizinische Universität Graz, a role as a dance teacher, and working as a pharmacist. Research at the Croatian Institute for Brain Research focused on Alzheimer's treatment, while Đesika co-founded and served as Editor In Chief of Recipe, a magazine dedicated to addressing misinformation in healthcare. Đesika holds a Master's degree in Pharmaceutics and Drug Design from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry Zagreb.
