Premangshu Shekhar Sarker

Premangshu Shekhar Sarker is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in project coordination, legal aid, and capacity building in the realm of human rights and justice. Currently serving as a Project Coordinator for Access to Justice at Helvetas since December 2019, Premangshu previously held roles such as National Legal Aid & ADR Expert at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and Capacity Building Officer, where responsibilities included developing training programs and coordinating capacity-building initiatives. Additional significant positions include National Policy & Advocacy Coordinator at Nagorik Uddyog and Senior Officer - Legal at Bandhu Social Welfare Society, focusing on the promotion of rights for marginalized communities. Premangshu holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Rajshahi University and has a strong academic background in law and justice.
