Phil Gomes

Phil Gomes is a recognized communications and marketing leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Marketing & Communications Lead at Hemi Labs since July 2023, Phil oversees a diverse team to launch innovative layer-2 networks. Prior roles include Chief Communications & Marketing Officer at Bloq, where significant achievements included developing strategies during the COVID-19 crisis and launching Vesper Finance, achieving rapid growth in total value locked. As Chief Communications Officer at Edelman, Phil drove the firm's blockchain portfolio to a multi-million dollar business and pioneered the application of blockchain technology in public relations. Phil's foundational work in the PR field includes curriculum development in digital communications at Kent State University and recognition as an early adopter of blogging and blockchain in communications.
