Sasha Makuka

Sasha Makuka is an experienced museum professional currently serving as the Associate Registrar for Exhibitions and Loans at Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library since July 2018. Prior experience includes roles at the National Museum of American Jewish History as both Assistant Registrar and Contracted Registrar from September 2010 to June 2017, where responsibilities encompassed object and exhibit management, condition reporting, acquisition processes, and archival storage. Intern experience at the National Constitution Center in 2009 and project coordination at Olson Research Group, Inc. from March 2007 to August 2008, along with a brief tenure as a Loan Representative at PayDay USA, contributed to a diverse skill set. Sasha holds a Master’s degree in Museum Professions with a concentration in Exhibition Management and Museum Registration from Seton Hall University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
