Peter Mayer

Peter Mayer currently serves as the Head of Regulatory Affairs & Aviation Excellence at HENSOLDT since July 2021. Prior to this role, Mayer held several leadership positions, including Head of Quality at TDW Gesellschaft für verteidigungstechnische Wirksysteme mbH and Head of Germany Authorities Certification at Airbus Group. Mayer also has entrepreneurial experience as the owner of Käseecke, a food retailing company. With a strong background in quality assurance and process improvement at various defense industry firms, including Cassidian and EADS Defence & Security, Mayer has been instrumental in technical-logistical leadership within MRO departments during a tenure that spans several decades, starting at the Bundeswehr. Additionally, Mayer worked as a paramedic with Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. and has pursued further education at IESE Business School and Euro-FH Europäische Fernhochschule Hamburg.
