Nikki Vandeputte

Nikki VandePutte is an experienced environmental scientist currently employed at Herrera Environmental Consultants since March 2023, previously holding positions as an Environmental Technician. Prior to this role, Nikki worked as an Environmental Aide for King County, WA, where responsibilities included macroinvertebrate sampling, habitat data collection, and conducting salmon spawning surveys. Nikki was also engaged with the Adopt A Stream Foundation, serving as an Ecologist, Restoration Technician, and Restoration Intern, contributing to stream and wetland restoration projects aimed at enhancing habitats for salmonid species. Early experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Western Washington University, assisting in field research along the Nooksack River. Nikki holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Western Washington University, with a focus on Freshwater and Terrestrial Ecology.
