Daniel R. Phillips currently serves as the LEADS Team Manager at Hertfordshire County Council, overseeing the newly established Landscape, Ecology, Archaeology and Design Sustainability Team, which aims to promote sustainable practices within the county. As a Historic Environment Advisor within the same team, Daniel R. Phillips contributes to reimagining the valuation and understanding of archaeology in relation to climate change and sustainability goals. Additionally, Daniel R. Phillips is the founder and owner of drp archaeology, a consultancy providing historical and archaeological risk assessments. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Archaeologist and Field Archaeologist across various organizations, including The Heritage Network and University College London. Daniel R. Phillips holds a Master of Science in Spatial Planning and a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical, Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies and Archaeology from University College London.
