Hero Slinn

Hero Slinn currently serves as the Director of Inclusion and Skills in Children’s Services at Hertfordshire County Council and as a Non Executive Director at HFL Education, both roles held since September 2022. Prior experience includes the position of Head of Integrated SEND Service at Buckinghamshire Council from April 2019 to August 2022 and SEND Practice Manager at Central Bedfordshire Council from August 2015 to March 2019. Hero Slinn also worked as Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion and Safeguarding Lead at St Bernadette's Catholic Primary School from September 2011 to August 2015 and held various roles at Loughton School between September 2005 and August 2011, including Head of Year and Class Teacher. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Learning Difficulties from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, a Diploma of Education with National SENCo Award from Middlesex University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Sussex.
