Vicky Jackson Nielsen

Vicky Jackson Nielsen has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Director of Drilling and Completions for Bakken at Hess Corporation since January 2010. Nielsen's expertise spans various roles, including Senior Project Engineering Advisor for Liza Phase 1 in Guyana and Senior Drilling and Planning Advisor, contributing to both operational and strategic planning efforts. Prior to Hess, Nielsen held several positions at Halliburton WellDynamics, culminating as Global Technical Manager, and served as a Sales Engineer at BJ Services as well as a Production Engineer at Unocal. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and The University of Texas at Austin, respectively.
