Ayla Karalar

Ayla Karalar has extensive experience in domestic abuse services, currently serving as the DA Assessment & Referral Service Manager at Hestia Charity since December 2018, overseeing the DA Refuge Referral Line. Previously, Ayla worked as a Refuge Service Manager at Solace Women's Aid and held various roles at Hestia Charity, including managing the Camden DA service and the Hackney Domestic Abuse Service. Early career roles include Housing Services Manager and Refuge Worker at THE NIA PROJECT, Advice Worker at IMECE WOMEN'S CENTRE, and Freelance Interpreter at Interpreter Ltd. Ayla holds a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting from Hackney College, an HND in Business & Finance from the University of the Arts London, and a BSc in Geological Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
