Jan de Vries

Jan de Vries serves as Vicevoorzitter at Smart Delta Drechtsteden and Burgemeester of Gemeente Sliedrecht. Additionally, Jan holds positions on the Economic Development Board Drechtsteden, the Supervisory Board of Het Juridisch Loket, and the Supervisory Board of Leger des Heils. Jan has also chaired a working group on legal positions within the Protestantse Kerk in Nederland and previously led the Stichting ter Bevordering van de Christelijke Pers in Nederland. Educational qualifications include master's degrees in Juridical Administrative Science and Dutch Law from Utrecht University, along with various professional development courses. Jan has extensive experience in both public service and non-profit governance.
