Gordon Ritter

Gordon is the Founder and General Partner of Emergence Capital, the leading venture capital firm focused on early and growth-stage enterprise cloud companies. In 2003, Gordon led Emergence Capital’s first investment, in Salesforce.com. In 2008, Gordon invested in Industry Cloud pioneer Veeva Systems when the company had only 25 employees. Now a public company, Gordon has played a key role in Veeva’s development and is now its Chairman. Gordon was named to the Forbes’ Midas List of the top venture capital investors in 2007, 2012, 2014 and 2015.
