Rebecca Timmons has over 30 years of experience in higher education, currently serving as an Associate Professor and Director of Assessment and Accountability at UA Fort Smith. With a strong background in program development and teaching across various degree levels, Rebecca has expertise in creating strategic plans and developing mission statements, alongside experience in overseeing IRB proposals and adhering to financial and legal policies. Additionally, Rebecca founded and managed the Center for Lifelong Learning from 2007 to 2010, implementing a five-year strategic plan, and has been involved with the Higher Learning Commission since 2004 in roles including Peer Reviewer and Accreditation Liaison Officer. Rebecca holds an Ed.D. in Vocational Education from the University of Arkansas and a Master of Education in Business Teacher Education from Texas Tech University.
