Joana Ballow

Joana Ballow is a Junior Business Analyst at HigherEchelon, Inc. since August 2023, previously participating as a Clicked Learning Community Member for a brief period in early 2023. Joana's experience includes leadership as a Family Readiness Group Leader for the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), where responsibilities involved supporting family readiness initiatives, coordinating events, and providing assistance for families transitioning to overseas moves. Joana also has a solid background in education, serving as an Elementary School Teacher in various capacities across multiple institutions, including Lloyd Harbor Elementary School and the Department of Defense Education Activity. Joana holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology, Inclusive Elementary Education, and Special Education from Syracuse University, along with a Master of Arts in Applied Educational Psychology, specializing as a Reading Specialist from Teachers College, Columbia University.
