Beth Carter

Director, Faculty Advising at Highline College

Beth Carter is an experienced higher education professional with a strong background in international student advising and academic coaching. Currently serving as the Director of Faculty Advising at Highline College since December 2024, Carter previously held several key roles at Green River College from October 2017 to December 2024, including Academic Director of the Madeleine K Albright Young Women Leaders Program and various positions focused on international student support. With a Master's degree in International Studies from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Puget Sound, Carter has also contributed as a consultant, president of the Young Professionals International Network, and program coordinator for the World Affairs Council.
