Jim Klotz

Jim Klotz has extensive experience in the insurance and technology sectors, currently serving as a Research Council Fellow at Aite-Novarica Group since March 2020. Prior to this, Jim held key positions including Vice President of Research and Consulting at Novarica from November 2016 to October 2019, where research supported over 80 insurers in technology projects. Jim also served as Senior Consultant at Insurity, leading due diligence during its acquisition of Oceanwide Canada, Inc., and as VP of Claim Strategic Operations and Systems at Selective Insurance, conducting comprehensive evaluations of core claim systems. Previously, Jim was Senior Vice President and CIO at The PMA Insurance Group, overseeing all IT functions, and spent two decades at Travelers Insurance, advancing from a programmer to 2nd Vice President in IT. Jim earned a BS in Insurance, Finance and Insurance from the University of Connecticut, graduating in 1977.
