Tyler MacChi

Tyler Macchi is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as an Operations Engineer at Hilcorp since September 2024, Tyler previously held the position of Senior Production Engineer & Asset Lead at Contango Oil & Gas Company from December 2021 to February 2024. Prior to that, Tyler was the Engineering Manager and Senior Operations Engineer at Fleur de Lis Energy, LLC from December 2017 to December 2021, and served as a Senior Operations Engineer at Tana Exploration Company, LLC from September 2015 to December 2017. Tyler began a career at Urban Oil & Gas Group, LLC as an Operations Engineer from January 2014 to September 2015, and has held earlier roles as an Operations Engineer at Denbury Resources from June 2010 to January 2014 and as an Engineer at Hess Corporation from June 2008 to June 2010. Tyler earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University in 2008.
