Amina Switzer

Amina Switzer is an accomplished communications specialist with extensive experience in news production and digital content management. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist at Hillcrest Healthcare System since October 2022, Amina has previously worked as a news producer for KOTV News on 6 and KWTV News 9, where Amina also held the position of associate producer. Additional experience includes senior news producer, news producer, and senior web producer roles at OU Nightly, as well as serving as a digital content manager for the [UNFILTERED] Community Journalism Project. Amina's diverse background also encompasses roles in sales support at Bath & Body Works and White Barn, as well as residential counseling at Duke University Talent Identification Program. Amina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Digital Strategy at the University of Oklahoma.
