Avery Story DHA(c), MS, CCC-SLP currently serves as the Acute Therapy Supervisor at Hillcrest Healthcare System since November 2023. Previously, Avery held the position of Director of Rehabilitation at Powerback for a brief period and directed rehabilitation efforts at Montereau from February 2022 until November 2023, overseeing a large team of therapists and daily therapy operations. At Select Rehabilitation from January 2022 to August 2023, Avery also directed a team of therapists while managing scheduling, billing, and departmental collaboration. Earlier experience includes being a Speech Language Pathologist at St. John Health System, specializing in acute care for patients with strokes and head injuries. Avery holds a Doctor's Degree in Health Care Administration/Management from Oklahoma State University and both a Master of Science and Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern State University.
