Grady Arnold is the current Advisor at Hinge Health. Before that, they were the Director of Benefits at Vail Resorts from January 2015 to December 2021. There, they were responsible for leading the strategic evaluation, design, implementation, administration and communication of employee health, welfare, retirement, leave and wellness benefit programs for Vail Resorts 45,000+ employees in the United States and Canada.
Moving to Vail Resorts allowed him to expand the scope of their responsibilities for a growth company whose mission aligns with their personal passions. In their role, they were accountable for:
• Day-to-day and cyclical benefit operations, compliance, and communications
• Analyzing benefit plan experience to shape data driven recommendations relative to emerging trends, regulatory changes, and goals of the organization to maximize value and elevate employee experience
• Identifying priorities and gain alignment throughout the organization, including with the CEO, CFO, and CHRO
• Financial modeling and analysis to forecast $140M of benefit related annual expenses, including creation of executive dashboards to illustrate KPIs and track progress towards goals
• Managing over 20 vendor partner and consulting relationships to ensure top quality and customized solutions to meet Company and employee needs
• Leading dispersed and high performing Benefits, Leave of Absence, and Wellness teams
• Driving wellness strategy and framework to ensure easy access to value add resources
• Advocating for DE
Grady Arnold completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the University of Wyoming. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management with a minor in Finance also from the University of Wyoming.
