Gayashan Bombuwala

Gayashan Bombuwala is a skilled software engineer with diverse experience in various technology roles. Currently employed at hipages Group since June 2022, Gayashan has previously held positions at IFS as a Senior Software Engineer and at WSO2 as a Software Engineer, where contributions to the Identity & Access Management team led to committership. Gayashan's technical expertise encompasses a range of technologies, including Core Java, Java EE, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure, among others. Additionally, experience includes a role as a Google Summer of Code Student Developer at the Sustainable Computing Research Group and a Trainee Software Engineer position at 99X Technology, where familiarity with tools such as React, AWS, and CI/CD practices was developed. An engineering degree was earned from the University of Westminster, complemented by earlier education at Bandaranayake College-Gampaha.
