Karina Warner is a seasoned consultant and educator with extensive experience in public health, human rights, and social work. Currently serving as a consultant at Hivos, Warner focuses on mapping health coordination structures in Costa Rica and developing plans for the Country Coordinating Mechanism. Warner has contributed to various projects, including the creation of a manual for stigma-free healthcare for LGTBIQ+ individuals and socioeconomic studies for social welfare programs. As an independent consultant with a strong academic background holding a Master's degree in Public Health from Universidad de Costa Rica, Warner has worked with numerous organizations, including the Poder Judicial and the Patronato Nacional de la Infancia, emphasizing competencies in HIV, social justice, and bioethics.
