Rachel Peavy

Rachel Peavy is a communications consultant with HL Strategy. Rachel has over 10 years of experience in the public relations industry, having worked for Alight Public Relations, Peavy Consulting, and Loews Atlanta Hotel | Loews New Orleans Hotel | Loews Vanderbilt Hotel.

Rachel is an expert in developing and executing PR strategy, and has a proven track record of securing local, regional, and national media coverage for their clients. Rachel has also worked closely with sales and marketing teams to align marketing initiatives and complement the annual commercial plan.

In their previous role as Area Director of Public Relations for Loews Hotels, Rachel was responsible for localizing brand initiatives to secure media coverage for programs including Loews Traveller Bar and FLAVOR by Loews. Rachel also worked with F&B teams to garner media coverage for hotel restaurants and banquet programs.

Rachel is a skilled communicator, and has served as a property spokesperson and copywriter, generating executive speeches, talking points, crisis communication, and overall hotel messaging.

Rachel Peavy is a graduate of Ithaca College with a degree in TV-Radio and a concentration in Public Relations and Advertising. Rachel also has their certification from Yoga Alliance in RYT-200. Prior to their career in yoga, they taught elementary and high school at the Paideia School.
