Ricardo Amaya is a licensed architect with extensive experience in design and project management across various sectors, including education, healthcare, and retail. Currently serving as an Associate at HLW since January 2022, Ricardo previously held the position of Lead Designer at Urbahn Architects from August 2017 to January 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing the design and documentation phases for diverse facility types and managing the 3D printing department. Prior experience includes a role as an Architectural Designer at Jacobs, contributing to multi-discipline projects and retail remodels, and serving as an Architectural Graduate at Cuhaci & Peterson Architects, focusing on brand identity and project vision. Ricardo holds a Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the University of Central Florida and an Associate's degree in Architecture from Valencia Community College. Ricardo is also a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), holds a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) certification, and is a LEED Green Associate (LEED GA).
