CNC Machinists earn $28/per hour after completing HMC Gears' CNC Machinist training!
Typical responsibilities for our CNC Machinists include, but are not limited to:
Machine Setups
Programming on Machine Tools by entering instructions
Adjusting and reprogramming controls
Maintaining specifications, tolerances, and quality requirements when performing drilling, grooving, and cutting, turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing
Troubleshooting
Preventative Maintenance
A prime CNC Machinist candidate for CNC Machining at HMC would be highly motivated, mechanically & mathematically inclined, and detail-oriented. Preferable candidates would possess one of the following:
· Associate’s Degree or Higher in CNC Machining OR
· Five years of directly-related CNC machine work experience
CNC Machinist Candidates must be able to physically lift up to 50 pounds, unassisted by equipment. Candidates must be a US Citizen and able to commute to Princeton, IN.
