Shannon Rasmussen

Shannon Rasmussen is a seasoned professional in client services and event management with extensive experience in the industry. Currently serving as Associate Vice President of Client Services at HMP Global since September 2020, Shannon has held various leadership roles, including Sr. Director of Account Management and Director of Project Management. Prior to HMP Global, Shannon worked at Sparks from May 2017 to April 2020, managing significant event series for the baby and family-planning sector, and strengthening relationships with exhibitors and sponsors. Shannon's background also includes roles at Maritz Travel Company, where significant contributions were made as a Meeting Event Manager II and Meeting Manager I for pharmaceutical clients, as well as event coordination at eMaint Enterprises and early experience with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation and Fox and Hound. Shannon holds a B.S. in Communications from the University of the Arts, earned in 2011.
