Kent Lauridsen

Kent Lauridsen currently serves as the Kansas City Studio Director at Hoerr Schaudt Landscape Architects, focusing on designing impactful gardens that enhance connections between people, site, and season. Previously, Kent held the Director of Engineering and Operations role at NEW ERA PACKAGING, where responsibilities included managing custom capital projects and developing new management processes. Kent has also founded BlissBot, developing a patent-pending system for linking digital assets to physical objects, and served as Vice President of Engineering at HorizonPSI, where a focus on data-driven process improvement was pivotal. Additional experience includes engineering and new product development leadership at Marlen International, COO at Kǔ SOJU, and various operational roles at Amazon, where safety and performance improvements were a focus. Kent holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology from Kansas State University.
