Katie Ellis

Katie Ellis is a seasoned media professional with extensive editorial experience. Currently serving as the Managing Editor of The Cottage Journal at Hoffman Media since August 2013, Katie oversees the creation and planning of editorial content for 18 annual issues, managing a team of assistant editors, designers, stylists, and photographers. Previous roles include Associate Editor and Assistant Editor at The Selma Times-Journal, where Katie played a key role in news writing, editorial planning, and rebranding projects. Additional experience encompasses various internships and reporter positions at notable publications, including The Anniston Star and Randall-Reilly Publishing. Katie holds a Master’s degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The University of Alabama.
