Melissa Neulander

Melissa Neulander is the Chief Legal Talent Officer for the Americas at Hogan Lovells, a position held since September 2016, where responsibility includes developing a comprehensive legal talent management strategy focused on recruitment, retention, and professional development for lawyers and legal staff. Previously, Melissa served as the Director of Attorney Talent at Hogan Lovells and as Director of Professional Development at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP. With a career beginning at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP, Melissa held various roles, including Director of Attorney HR & Development and Attorney Development Manager, where responsibilities encompassed attorney training, performance management, and retention strategies. Melissa earned a JD from Fordham University School of Law and a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
