Junaid Ilyas

Junaid Ilyas is currently a Tech at Hokodo. Prior to this, they were a Software Development Engineer at GoCardless from April 2020 to October 2021. Junaid was also a Front End Developer at Adstream from February 2018 to March 2020, and a Senior Application Developer at Accenture from March 2016 to January 2018.

Ilyas has also worked as a Software Engineer at PA Media from July 2012 to February 2016, where they were responsible for developing the Press Releases ingestion and delivery system using Microservices architecture, as well as developing and maintaining the backend REST APIs built on top of MarkLogic. Junaid also developed a consumer-facing ‘News API’ to deliver news content in JSON, XML and RSS response formats.

Ilyas is experienced in Angular 4, TypeScript, SASS, HTML5, Webpack, Node.js, MongoDB, Swagger, Mongoose and Jenkins. Junaid is also faculty member at Modern Web Academy for Front-end development training.

Junaid Ilyas has a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from City, University of London and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences. Junaid is certified by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT as a Chartered IT Professional (CITP), and by Code School as a Git Real.
