Mike Thorkildson

Mike Thorkildson is an experienced procurement and contracts professional with over two decades of expertise in the field. Currently serving as the Category Manager for Mining at LafargeHolcim since July 2019, Mike previously held the position of Regional Procurement Manager for the North Central, Mid America, and Great Lakes-East Regions at LafargeHolcim from July 2011 to July 2019. Prior to this, Mike worked at Mesaba Airlines, where responsibilities included managing contracts, warranty, CRJ repairs, inventory planning, and purchasing for Saab repairs and the AOG desk from July 1999 to July 2011. Mike holds an educational background from Brown College, having attended from 1991 to 1993.
