Leah Furmanski

Leah Furmanski (Swanson) is an experienced professional in human factors engineering and product usability management, currently serving as the Product Usability Manager at Hollister Incorporated since December 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Human Factors at THRIVE and Senior Principal Engineer-Human Factors at Baxter Healthcare, where Leah led cross-functional teams in medical product design and testing. Leah's background also encompasses oversight of human factors capabilities at Aptima, Inc. and various teaching and administrative roles in earlier career stages. Leah holds both a Master of Science in Human Factors and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
