Sharon Garcia

Sharon Garcia has been working in human resources and payroll for over ten years. Sharon started their career as a bilingual secretary in the San Bernardino City Unified School District in August 2008. In this role, they provided administrative support to management, planned and coordinated travel, and reported on budget status and budgetary planning/forecasting. In June 2020, they left the school district to become the Human Resources & Payroll Director at HONDO. In this role, they are responsible for managing the human resources and payroll functions for the company. Sharon is also responsible for training clerical staff in office procedures and maintaining a professional environment by observing confidentiality and ethical behaviors.

Sharon Garcia has a degree in business administration and management from Rio Hondo College.

They are on a team with Stephen Winters - Waste Water Superintendent, Ryan Elder - Director of Aviation, and Lora Robbins - Development Services Superintendent. Their manager is Scott L. Albert, City Manager.
