Jenny Dearborn is an advisor at Hone and the former Chief People Officer at Klaviyo. Jenny has also held positions as Chief Talent Officer and Chief Learning Officer at SAP and SuccessFactors, respectively. In 2009, they were named one of the "100 Most Powerful Women in Corporate Learning" by Training Industry, Inc.
Dearborn began their career in 2000 as the Chief Learning Officer at SumTotal Systems, LLC. Jenny then served as the Chief Learning Officer for Americas at Sun Microsystems from 2003-2009. In 2009, they were appointed Chief Learning Officer at Hewlett-Packard, a position they held until 2012.
In 2012, Dearborn joined SuccessFactors as their Chief Learning Officer and VP of Sales. Jenny stayed with the company until 2014 when they were appointed Chief Talent Officer at SAP. Dearborn served in this role until 2019 when they joined Klaviyo as their Chief People Officer.
Jenny Dearborn has a certificate in corporate board governance from Harvard Business School. Jenny also has a directors' college from Stanford Law School. Jenny has an MBA in leadership from San Jose State University and an MA in education from Stanford University. Jenny also has a BA in English and film from University of California, Berkeley. Finally, they have an AA in social sciences from American River College.
