Habtamu Tassew

Habtamu Tassew serves as an Advanced Project Engineer at Honeywell since March 2022, following experience as a Project Engineer II. Prior roles include Project Manager/Design Engineer at Advantage Interests Inc from April 2019 to February 2022, Designer at Koetter Fire Protection of Houston from January 2016 to April 2019, and Designer at National Oilwell Varco from November 2011 to December 2015. An educator at Unity University from September 2010 to June 2011, Habtamu taught courses in Basic Design, Architectural Graphics, and Building Construction. Habtamu holds a Master of Science in Data Science from The University of Texas at Austin (expected December 2025), a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Texas at Tyler (2015-2019), an Associate’s Degree in Engineering from Houston Community College (2013-2015), and a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from UNITY UNIVERSITY (2007-2010).
