Alicia Herrera

Alicia Herrera is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in special education and learning support. Currently serving as a Moderate Needs Teacher and Learning Specialist at HOPE Online Learning Academy Co-Op since August 2018, Alicia provides academic interventions and tailored learning experiences for 6th to 12th grade students. Prior roles include High School and Middle School Resource Teacher at Chavez Huerta K-12 Preparatory Academy, Exceptional Student Services Teacher at Lemuel Pitts Middle School, and Special Education Teacher at El Pueblo Adolescent Treatment Community. Additionally, Alicia has pursued interests in wellness advocacy with doTERRA International LLC. Alicia holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Colorado State University Pueblo, along with degrees in Business Administration and Accounting from Cal State Fullerton and Fullerton College.
