Franklin Root has over 15 years of experience in management and product development within the hobby and retail sectors. Currently serving as the Surface Category Manager - Performance at Horizon Hobby since April 2010, Franklin has previously held positions such as Senior Product Developer and Product Manager. Prior to Horizon Hobby, Franklin managed a team of 15 employees as Store Manager at Pacific Coast Hobbies, achieving a notable increase in store margin from 28% to over 34%. From 1999 to 2007, Franklin worked at Safeway as Front End Manager, overseeing more than 50 employees and focusing on various operational responsibilities.
