Marissa Defalco

Marissa DeFalco is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in administrative, human resources, and research roles. Currently serving as Executive Assistant to the CEO at Host Healthcare, Inc. since May 2018, Marissa has also held various positions within the company, including Human Resources Associate and Senior Quality Services Analyst. Prior roles include Cognitive Interventionist at Home Care Assistance, where program content was developed for older adults to promote brain health, and intern at the University of California San Diego, managing participant schedules for an FDA-funded research study. Additionally, as an Assistant Researcher at Active Living Research, Marissa empowered low-income older adults to advocate for community improvements. Leadership experience includes serving as President of the Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity, achieving significant growth and recognition during the term, and working as an Orientation Leader at UC San Diego, assisting incoming students in their transition to university life. Marissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from UC San Diego.
