Alexandra Hynes

Alexandra Hynes, CHRL, MIR, currently serves as a Senior Human Resources Consultant for the House of Commons of Canada since August 2019. Prior to this role, Alexandra held various positions at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, including Team Leader for Labour Relations and Workplace Wellness and Labour Relations Advisor. Alexandra's extensive experience includes managing complex labour relations issues, providing guidance on employee relations in both unionized and non-unionized environments, and leading formal investigations and collective bargaining processes. Earlier roles included Senior Human Resource Advisor at The Ottawa Hospital and Research Analyst at Decima Research. Alexandra holds a Master's degree in Industrial Relations from Queen's University and additional qualifications in Conflict Management and Human Resources from Algonquin College, along with a degree from the University of Ottawa.
