Ryan Banfield

Ryan Banfield currently serves as an ATIP Analyst at the Privy Council Office, where responsibilities include fulfilling Access to Information requests, analyzing and redacting documents, and contributing to proactive disclosure initiatives. Additionally, Ryan is involved in youth advocacy as a member of the Ottawa Youth Council and the Ottawa Youth Engagement Committee, representing youth interests in Ward 12. Previous experience includes roles as a Policy Analyst with the Public Health Agency of Canada and a Fiscal Policy Analyst with Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada. Ryan holds a Joint Honours Bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Political Science from the University of Ottawa and has completed various certificates, including Indigenous Canada from the University of Alberta. Past activities also include hosting a political podcast and engaging in community and social initiatives.
