Ryan Bare, PhD, is a Senior Research Scientist and Nature-Based Solutions Program Manager at the Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC) since January 2021, previously serving as a Research Scientist in the same program from May 2014 to December 2019. Ryan's earlier roles include Research Associate and Research Assistant at HARC, a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Texas A&M University at Galveston, and a Water Quality Research Intern at the Galveston Bay Foundation. Ryan also contributed to marine conservation efforts with Global Vision International. Ryan holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Water Management and Hydrological Science from Texas A&M University (2016-2019), a Master of Science in Marine Resource Management from Texas A&M University Galveston Campus (2013-2014), and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with a focus on Marine and Coastal Resources from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (2009-2011).
