Alexia McLean

Alexia McLean is an experienced education and marketing professional currently serving as an Elementary Music Teacher at Houston ISD since August 2024, where lesson design is tailored to the needs of elementary students and a positive classroom environment is fostered. Additionally, Alexia acts as the Marketing Team Captain for New Works Project, managing content calendars, email marketing, and social media engagement while leveraging tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. Prior experience includes roles at Syracuse University as Assistant Director of Recruitment & Admissions Operations, where Alexia led operational staff and coordinated recruitment events, and other positions focused on graduate and undergraduate recruitment at various academic institutions. Alexia holds a Master of Music in Saxophone Performance from Louisiana State University and previous degrees from the University of North Florida and Seminole State College of Florida.
