Jhanne Hooker

Jhanne Hooker is a seasoned professional in the field of human resources and education, currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Houston ISD since August 2015. Jhanne has held several significant roles, including Program Manager for Immigrant Employee Support and Senior Manager for Family and Community Engagement and HISD Equity and Outreach. In these positions, Jhanne successfully managed district-wide mentoring initiatives and oversaw college readiness programs, achieving impressive outcomes such as an 85% college and financial aid application rate among high school students. Prior experience includes serving as a College Success Advisor at Texas A&M University.
