Harry Michael Lambert

Harry Michael (Mike) Lambert is a distinguished ophthalmologist and educator with extensive experience in academic and professional settings. Currently serving as a Retired Emeritus Professor of Ophthalmology at Houston Methodist, Lambert also holds the position of Professor of Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medical College, specializing in vitreoretinal surgery. As the Founding Director of the United States Air Force Academy Endowment and a board member of The Robert Machemer Foundation, Lambert actively promotes education and resource development for future leaders. Additionally, Lambert has co-founded various scholarships and foundations to support students and educational initiatives. A prolific inventor, Lambert has contributed significantly to the field of ophthalmology through the development of numerous surgical instruments.
