Fred R. Lummis

Fred R. Lummis is co-founder and chairman of Platform Partners, LLC, a private investment company based in Houston. He serves as director of several private companies and chairs the board of Baylor College of Medicine. Lummis is the second member of the Hughes family to serve as a trustee of HHMI.

Lummis was elected a trustee of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute in 2010.
