Sarah Simmons

Sarah Simmons has extensive experience in grants management and program administration, currently serving as the Director of Grants Management at Howard Hughes Medical Institute since September 2013 and having previously held positions including Assistant Director and Senior Program Officer. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Dean and Director at The University of Texas at Austin from August 2002 to May 2014. Sarah Simmons earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Systematics from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology from Angelo State University.
