Brenda Willis

Brenda Willis serves as the Senior Executive Director of Grants and Sponsored Programs at Howard University since January 2015. Previously, Brenda held the position of Director of Grants and Contracts at Morehouse School of Medicine from 2001 to 2012, successfully recovering over $4 million in funds from various federal agencies. Prior experience includes serving as the Manager of Grants and Contracts at Grambling State University from 1993 to 2001, where Brenda developed a comprehensive grants program that resulted in a 67% increase in grant and contract awards over two years. Brenda holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Grambling State University, awarded in 1994, and an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the same institution, completed in 1984.
