Richard Falkingham

Richard Falkingham has extensive experience in engineering and management, currently serving as Director Of Engineering and Head Of Engineering at Howdens since September 2010, overseeing capital asset planning, logistics development, continuous improvement, and maintenance across multiple operational sites. Prior roles include Group Engineering Manager and Site General Manager at Howdens, and Design and Engineering Manager at Tata Steel, where Richard focused on modular housing solutions. Additional experience encompasses Manufacturing Manager at Corus Living Solutions, contributing to factory design and project management, and Senior Engineer roles at Tata Steel with a focus on process and maintenance. Richard holds a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Sheffield, an ILM 5 in Leadership, and an Executive Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health, while being a Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
