Mark Bufton

Mark Bufton is an experienced chartering broker currently working at Howe Robinson Partners since April 2020. Prior to this role, Mark held positions as a chartering broker at Alliance Tanker from March 2016 to April 2020, and previously as an LPG futures broker at Marex Spectron for a brief period in late 2015. Mark’s background includes significant experience in the maritime and freight industries, with earlier roles as a sale and purchase broker at Alliance Tanker and as a freight derivatives broker at both GFI Group and ICAP. Mark began a professional career in golf, serving as a PGA golf professional at Tandridge Golf Club and DeVere Group before transitioning into the brokerage field. Mark holds a degree in Applied Golf Studies from Birmingham City University, complemented by education at Long Road Sixth Form College and Swavesey Village College.
