Jim Turner

Jim Turner is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in survey control and geospatial consulting. Currently serving as Lead Survey Control Engineer at HS2 (High Speed Two) Ltd since May 2018, Jim previously held positions including Senior Survey Control Engineer and Geospatial Consultant at jtGeo. Prior experience includes roles as Marine Survey Navigation Consultant at Sercel/CGG, Senior Research Associate at University College London, Offshore Surveyor at Fugro, and Research Fellow at University College London. Educational credentials include a PhD in Space Geodesy from Newcastle University, an MSc in Geographical Information Science from Birkbeck, University of London, and a BSc Hons in Maths and Computer Science from Aston University.
